If you tilt your head to the right and squint your eyes just right, you’ll see just how small I am – figuratively.

  11. Hope I could be like a real writer one day like you guys! I am a writer in one sense: I write source codes for our company clients (software development). Take care and God bless. 🙂

  12. wow…. intelligently imaginative blog ….
    makabuluhan po 🙂

  13. Eldon, you’re a linguist then. Programming languages are a pain in the pajamas.

    🙂

  14. Thanks, Bong. 🙂

  15. My my. How did you know I love foreign languages? Well, I could speak Spanish since my hometown, Ciudad de Zamboanga, has a unique dialect based from Mexican Spanish. I am able to speak Japanese since I had a Japanese class way back high school. I am able to code in different programming languages since these are self-studied, and of course taught in my course…well sort of. 😀

Writing really, is the true pain-in-the-medulla-oblongata, even if one uses his/her own language. Hehehe. By the way, you take above-mediocre shots using your camera. I wonder if I could do that too.

    Ki o tsukete!!

  16. Above-mediocrity is my specialty. Haha! 🙂

  17. Nice to hear that, Pol… and keep shooting above-mediocre shots! I hope you create something like a site where you post your shots. I love good shots. 🙂

    take care!

  18. Sure, when I get to be a good photographer. 🙂

  19. You are more than good…you rock! From the shots I saw that you took, I could say these could be at par with those that are printed in magazines. 🙂

  31. How far can we take digital image manipulation and still maintain photographic integrity?

  32. How can I combine two photos into one? I Have a photo of myself and a photo of my wife. How can I combine them to be one, and look real?

  33. kamsahamnida..

  34. Hey Mervhyn,

I bet you’re Pinoy since you have the requisite letter “h” embedded in your name. 🙂 Anyway, regarding digital manipulation, it depends mainly on the artist. For me personally, I think photo manipulation should work with the photo, and not overshadow it. I believe that less is always more when it comes to manipulation.

With combining photos of you and your wife, the easiest way to do it, other than having someone take a photo of the two of you together, is to manipulate it via Photoshop.
There are lots of tutorials available on the www to help you with that.

Thanks for visiting the site. Have a good one.

  35. happy birthday sis!

  36. The Name Above Every Name (Of Yours — On Earth)

“Dang” was the word that I did utter,
To describe you then my little sister
For that time the word was quite a mouthful
In Tagalog, “maganda”, in English, “beautiful”

And ever since then it has been one
Of the many names that have become
Additions to the three that our parents did give
To laugh at and bear with as long as we live

But of all the words that come out of my mouth
To refer to you, nothing counts as much
Than that from the day we should always recall
The day Christ’s brethren called you ‘Sister Pol’

    P.S.

I could not write on your wall. So here it is (literally). Happy Birthday Sister Pol 🙂

  37. Thanks be to God kuya 🙂
